computer programming "sucking" to me, it's all relative. Where do you live? What kind of "computer programming" are you doing? How many years of experience do you have? Are you working for a .com (where you work 100 hours a day) or an established company with set procedures? Are you into computer programming cos you actually love it or cos in a place where unemployment is high, you figure it is the fastest way to quick money?
I could ask many more, but I think the above should suffice. you shouldn't sell yourself short. If you are everything from design, to business logic to front end work to database design, promise to deliver it all in 1 week or less and charging $50, then of course computer programming would suck. On the other hand, if you planned your life such that you did only few gigs in a year and you charged hugely for it and did it over the course of 3 weeks, where you actually had time to plan out your strategy it would really be enjoyable.
